Karachi thieves hugs a man, return valuables after assaulting him with weapon threat?

In a rare sight, the thieves in Karachi decided not to steal from their target, a delivery man, in what appeared to be a change of heart regarding their valuables, according to a recent sequence of video surveillance making rounds on social media.

In the video, the delivery guy from a popular delivery app can be seen attacked by two men on a bicycle on a city street.

The images showed the delivery man returning to his bike after making a successful delivery. However, as he approached his bicycle, he was held a short distance away by thieves who took his money, his phone, and other valuables.

As soon as their valuables were taken away, we saw the delivery man cry and say something to the thieves. To that, the thieves returned all the valuables that had been stolen from the rider and hugged him.

The two thieves hugged the delivery man and he could be seen consoling the food delivery man and quickly left the crime scene. The delivery man also sat on his bike and left the scene after grabbing his nearly ripped items.

The video quickly went viral on social media, and police confirmed that the video was from Karachi. However, they have not yet identified the jurisdiction of the police station where the crime was committed.

Street crime in the southern port city of Pakistan has increased, according to a report released in April, despite police and Rangers setting up checkpoints for instant checks amid the closure of the coronavirus in El sind.

Dozens of Karachi citizens have been attacked, losing their cell phones, cars and motorcycles since March 20. According to a police report that includes data from March 20 to April 7, at least 379 cell phones and 31 bicycles were stolen, while 1,049 were stolen.

The 19-day period also includes the 16-day lock.

During the lockout period, three cars were stolen and 28 thefts occurred, according to official information. However, video surveillance images of flights in retail stores and stores in various markets continued to appear.

On a positive note, bank robberies and other serious crimes amounted to zero.

Karachi Police Chief Ghulam Nabi Memon told Geo News that authorities respond quickly to all street crime alerts and information on his helpline.
